Tifway 419 Bermuda – 504 Sq. Ft.

Tifway 419 Bermudagrass has a thin leaf texture. Typically, Tifway 419 is used for lawns, athletic fields and golf course fairways. Its color is usually dark green and keeps its best appearance when mowed short. It is highly resilient, enduring both high heat and cold, being drought and traffic tolerant. Tifway 419 has a very low shade tolerance.

Celebration Bermuda – 450 Sq. Ft.

Celebration Bermuda has a leaf texture which is slightly thicker than Tifway 419. Celebration Bermuda has a good cold tolerance, drought tolerance and traffic tolerance. It is slightly more shade tolerant than other Bermudas and has deep green color.

 

Raleigh St. Augustine – 450 Sq. Ft.

Raleigh St. Augustine is commonly used in semi-shaded areas. The leaf texture is coarse with a medium green color and medium mowing height. St. Augustine grass tolerates medium heat and drought, and medium cold. It adapts well in high humidity.

 

Palmetto St. Augustine – 450 Sq. Ft.

Palmetto St. Augustine has characteristics similar to Raleigh St. Augustine, but has a slightly higher shade tolerance and a higher cold tolerance than Raleigh.

 

Buffalo – 450 Sq. Ft.

Buffalo grass has a low shade tolerance. It is most commonly used in parks, roadways or other large areas where water supply may be limited. The leaf texture is medium thin with a medium green color and medium to tall mowing height. If left unmowed, the maximum height reaches about six inches. Buffalo grass tolerates high heat, drought and cold. Buffalo grass requires low maintenance in terms of watering, mowing, and fertilizing. It is not commonly used for residential ornamental lawn purposes.

 

Zoysia, Palisades – 450 Sq. Ft.

Palisades Zoysia is commonly used in sunny to semi-shaded areas. The leaf texture is medium with a dark green color and medium mowing height. Palisades Zoysia tolerates heat, drought, and cold. It is one of our most commonly used types of Zoysia.

 

Zoysia,Cavalier – 450 Sq. Ft.

Cavalier Zoysia is commonly used in sunny to semi-shaded areas. The leaf texture is thin with an emerald to dark green color and short to medium mowing height. Cavalier Zoysia tolerates heat, drought and cold. It is one of the most commonly used types of Zoysia in Texas.

 

Zoysia, El Toro – 450 Sq. Ft.

El Toro Zoysia has characteristics which are very similar to Palisades Zoysia, but slightly lighter green in color.

 

Zoysia, Empire – 450 Sq. Ft.

Empire Zoysia has characteristics which are very similar to Palisades Zoysia. However, it tends to be later in coming out of dormancy in the Spring and has a slightly less upright growth pattern and tends to grow more lateral than Palisades.

 

Zoysia, Meyer – 450 Sq. Ft.

Meyer Zoysia has characteristics which are similar to Palisades Zoysia. However, it has a slightly less upright growth pattern and tends to grow more lateral than Palisades.

 

Zoysia, Zeon – 450 Sq. Ft.

Zeon Zoysia has characteristics which are similar to Cavalier Zoysia.

 

Zoysia, Emerald – 450 Sq. Ft.

Emerald Zoysia has characteristics which are similar to Cavalier Zoysia.

 

Zoysia, Zorro – 450 Sq. Ft.

Zorro Zoysia is like the other Zoysia varieties and will grow in sunny to semi shaded areas. It is high heat, cold, drought, and traffic tolerance. It has a thin leaf texture. Zorro Zoysia has been popular for use on golf courses.

 

Zoysia, Diamond – 450 Sq. Ft.

Diamond Zoysia has a very thin leaf texture and must be mowed at a low level to maintain a dense, carpet-like turf. It is used primarily on golf course applications.

 

Centipede – 450 Sq. Ft.

Centipede grass grows in the sun or in medium to heavy shade. Centipede grass must be planted in acidic soil. It has a good resilience with both good heat and cold tolerance. The leaf texture is medium.

 

Fescue – 504 Sq. Ft.

Fescue is a cool season grass, medium leaf texture that grows in full shade. It must be planted during cool months to have the best chance of establishing. It usually thins out during hot weather and needs to be overseeded annually in the fall.
